ChinaBase Organized a Business Visit in Europe


From Jan. 18th to 26th, ChinaBase organized SDIC Gaoxin, Zhejiang Silk Road Fund, ZIMAA and CVCA for a one-week business visit in France and Germany to help participants better implement their international strategy.


 SDIC (State Development & Investment Corp.) is the only state-owned investment holding company approved by state council, with AUM of 1,461 billion RMB. SDIC Gaoxin is the investment arm of SDIC focused on emerging industries. SDIC is seeking cooperation with leading financial institutions in Europe, assisting SDIC in better implementing international strategy on project and fund levels.


 Zhejiang Silk Road Fund is a major overseas investment platform in Zhejiang province with initial fund size of 5 billion RMB. Key focus of the fund is to source overseas investments that can grant local companies access to technology, branding, resources and markets to promote the economic transition and upgrade for Zhejiang province.


 ZIMAA (Zhejiang Investment M&A Association) is the first provincial M&A and assets reorganization service platform in China, which focuses on creating an online and offline service platform for M&A transactions in Zhejiang province. ZIMAA plans to build a deal sourcing channel and turn-key transaction service system in Europe.


 CVCA (China Venture Capital & Private Equity Association)is the only industrial association approved by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). CVCA aims to reach cooperation with industrial associations in Europe (especially France and Germany), and to bring the advanced financial/investment training system back to China. FR Capital is the vice president of CVCA, and is in charge of the networking with foreign counterparts.

The delegation visited relevant government organizations, industrial associations and financial/investment institutions in Paris, Nice, Cannes and Munich, enhancing understanding of local ecosystem.
